Neo Extension Wrench

A 0.62" thin extension wrench that slides into the gap your ratchet can't, so the ratchet stays out where you've got room to swing and the bolt still turns.

🔧 Works with the ratchet you already own · From the shop behind the Neo Creeper
  • 0.62" / 16 mm thin — slides between the engine and the frame, behind the alternator, under the manifold
  • Zero swing room at the bolt — the thin end does the turning, so you don't need space to move a handle
  • Drives off your own ratchet — the ratchet sits outside the gap where there's room to pull properly
  • Full swings, no busted knuckles — your hand works in open air, not jammed against the firewall
  • Saves the teardown — turn the bolt without pulling the airbox, the bracket or the heat shield first

How to Use
  1. Slide the thin end in. Into the gap between the engine and the frame, behind the bracket, wherever the bolt is hiding.
  2. Put your ratchet on the other end. It sits outside the tight spot, where there's room to move.
  3. Swing in the open. Full pulls on the ratchet, the bolt turns at the far end. No quarter-turns, no skinned knuckles.
  4. Pull it out and move on. The parts you didn't need to remove stay on the car.
Things Worth Knowing

Can it break loose a seized bolt?

It's built for reach, not for breaker-bar torque. If a bolt is rusted solid, hit it with penetrant first and crack it loose with a breaker bar where you can. Then the wrench takes it the rest of the way in the tight spot.

Do I need a special ratchet?

No. It's driven by a regular hand ratchet — the one already in your toolbox. That's the point: one thin tool that makes the ratchet you own work in places it couldn't reach before.

Where does it actually earn its keep?

Anywhere you can touch the bolt with a finger but can't fit a ratchet head: starter bolts, belt tensioners, exhaust manifold nuts, bellhousing bolts, brackets tucked behind the dash.

See The Difference

Your ratchet doesn't fit. This does.

Same bolt, same gap. One way costs you an hour of pulling parts. The other way, the thin end slides in, the ratchet stays outside, and the bolt turns.

The Real Problem

The bolt is right there. Your ratchet isn't.

You can touch it with one finger. You just can't get a ratchet head on it. So the airbox comes off, then the bracket, then the heat shield, and you're turning a single bolt a sixth of a turn at a time with an open-end wrench. A twenty-minute job just ate the afternoon.

Without it

Pulling parts you never needed to touch. Flipping an open-end wrench after every tiny swing. Knuckles skinned on the firewall. Another hour gone before the real job even starts.

With the Neo Extension Wrench

The thin end slides into the gap, your ratchet sits outside where there's room, and you take full swings. The bolt comes out, the parts you didn't need to remove stay on the car, and you're done before the coffee goes cold.

Built For The Job

Specs that matter in a workshop

📏

0.62" thin profile

16 mm from face to face. Slides between the engine and the frame, behind brackets and under manifolds.

🔄

Zero swing room

The thin end does the turning. You don't need any space at the bolt to move a handle.

🔧

Drives off your ratchet

Use the ratchet already in your toolbox. Nothing new to learn, no special set to buy.

💪

Full leverage outside

The ratchet sits where your arm can work properly, so every swing is a full one.

⏱️

Skips the teardown

Turn the bolt without pulling the airbox, the bracket or the heat shield first.

🧰

Lives flat in the drawer

No bulky case. It sits flat next to your sockets until the next tight spot.

How It Works

Three steps. That's the whole system.

1

Slide the thin end in

Into the gap where the bolt is hiding. 0.62" goes where a ratchet head won't.

2

Drop your ratchet on

It sits on the other end, outside the tight spot, where there's room to move.

3

Swing in the open

Full pulls on the ratchet, the bolt turns at the far end. Out it comes.

Questions

Straight answers

Do I need a special ratchet?

No. It's driven by a regular hand ratchet — the one already in your toolbox. One thin tool that makes the ratchet you own work where it couldn't reach before.

Can it break loose a seized bolt?

It's built for reach, not breaker-bar torque. If a bolt is rusted solid, hit it with penetrant and crack it loose where you can, then let the wrench take it the rest of the way.

Where does it actually help?

Anywhere you can touch the bolt but can't fit a ratchet head: starter bolts, belt tensioners, exhaust manifold nuts, bellhousing bolts, brackets tucked behind the dash.

Will it work on my car?

If the bolt sits in a gap thinner than your ratchet head, that's exactly what it's for. Cars, trucks, SUVs, mowers, bikes — the tight spots are the same everywhere.

How fast does it ship?

Orders leave the warehouse within 24 hours. Free shipping on every order, and 30 days to return it if it's not for you.
